Norse Mythology | Njord

Njord is the god of the sea, seafarers and the wind. He orignally lived in Vanaheim. His sister, who was also named Njord, is the mother of his children, Frøy and Frøya. By mistake, he ends up in an unhappy marriage with Skade, the half-jotun goddess of skiing.
