Norse Mythology | Hel

Hel is the queen of the dead, and presides over a realm of the same name. She is the daughter of Loke and his mistress Angerboda, and as such her siblings are the Midgard serpent and the Fenris wolf. Those who died of sickness or old age were sent to Hel’s halls.
